Community Workshop Initiative

The community workshop initiative joins faculty members, students, and Baltimore City residents in a collaborative relationship aimed at developing discipline-specific learning sessions. The goal of these learning sessions is to provide information on and practice with a wide variety of skills. Faculty members and their students collaborate with a community partner to develop a learning session focused on a topic identified by the community partner.

Past learning sessions have included digital literacy and employment workshops with GEDCO/CARES Career Connection and tax preparation workshops with CASH Maryland. Both sets of learning sessions were hosted at the Loyola Clinical Centers in Belvedere Square on York Road.
